Little Emperor Syndrome

Though the policy got amended, and it's legal to have 2 babies now, but the effects of the previous misguided policy have been colossal. There has been a whole psychological shift in the particular section of generation. Gender inequality persists hugely. The youngest generation deals with increasing pressure as they need to support a bigger previous generation because of the 4-2-1 family structure created. All of this may come up in future as a major shrink in labor force, and high dependency ratio. Hence these may affect country badly because even now after 5 years of policy change, no specific boom in birth rate has been identified.
